Hi, What a surprise to hear from you directly!.....I have been watching my
mail for it. I wanted to tell you how I found you. I wandered in to an
antique shop either in Vermont or NH two weeks ago and your CD was playing.
It was so absolutely beautiful that I asked the proprietor what it was. She
showed me your CD and said she was trying it out and how did I like it,
would I buy it if available etc. I said yes and that it was so lovely that
it made me want to linger in her shop so that I could continue to hear it. I
would have bought it on the spot but couldn't. So, I wrote down your name
inside the cover of the novel I was reading on my trip and when I got home I
"googled" you. Isn't the Internet wonderful!!! Anyway, I am looking
forward to receiving it and listening to it for a long time to come.

Dear Keith,

I don't know were to start... Last July I was in Atlanta for the 2003 ELCA youth gathering. It's a Lutheran youth gathering that takes place for high-school students every three years. Even though I was only 22 years old, I was chaperoning a bunch of kids from my old youth group. One afternoon when I had some time to explore the city by myself, I took the MARTA into town and after getting off, just started to explore the area. I wondered into the Woodruff Arts Center where the most beautiful piece of art was playing in the bookstore, your CD. After browsing a little, I couldn't resist asking the cashier any longer, she told me it was Nightfall by Keith Phillips. Of course I had to buy it. It was some of the best music I've ever heard, and has been my favorite CD ever since.

The entire way home to York, PA I listened to your CD (14 hours in a 15 passenger van with 14 passengers, generally not fun). Your music turned that trip from a misery into a joy. When we rode out of Atlanta on rout 85 I had the biggest smile on my face, as if I was on top of the world. It brought such joy to my heart because your music instantly reminded me of, who is now, the love of my life.

Our wedding date is set for Sunday, June 19, 2005....The bottom line here is... now I'm not sure how it'll all work out, but... I want you to play at our wedding.
